Audit Petition

This form is used to obtain permission to audit a course.

An audit is permitted only after students taking the class on a for credit basis have an opportunity to enroll. There is no limit to the number of courses a student can petition to audit per semester.



Routing Instructions: 
  1. Determine if you want to AUDIT a course. Audited courses do not count toward unit requirements for major, general education or university requirements or graduation. If you want the course(s) to count toward graduation, talk to your advisor or the Office of the Registrar about a credit/no credit grade mode.
  2. Enroll in the course prior to the ADD deadline.
  3. Complete and sign the petition.
  4. Obtain the instructor's permission (sign below) to audit the course.
  5. Submit your Audit Petition to the Office of the Registrar by the AUDIT deadline.
