To qualify to donate leave credits, the donating employee must occupy a class code that accrues sick leave and/or vacation.  Credits may be donated to requesting employees on campus who accrue sick leave and/or vacation, regardless of bargaining unit.  FERP employees may donate credits at any time, regardless of whether or not it is a scheduled work period.

Only sick and vacation time credits may be donated for catastrophic leave when the leave is for the employee’s own catastrophic injury or illness.  Credits must be donated in one-hour increments.  Please note the maximum donation for catastrophic leave each fiscal year is a combined total of sick leave and vacation accruals, as defined by your bargaining contract.
