Dr. Susan Baxter, Executive Director of the California State University Program for Education and Research in Biotechnology (CSUPERB), will be visiting Humboldt’s campus on Thursday, October 24th and Friday, October 25th to meet with faculty, students, and administrators interested in CSUPERB funding opportunities and information about life sciences.
The CSU Family Medical Leave (FML) provides employees with unpaid leave time for up to twelve (12) weeks to care for self or eligible family members. In April 2010, the CSC convened a meeting with campus leadership: the President, Provost, Vice Presidents; Academic Senate President; Associated Students President; and Staff Council representatives. Those convened prioritized a handful of key Cabinet recommendations for action in the 2010-2011 academic year. These priorities are summarized in Section I, below.
