Faculty Use Only Use this form to document that a student has demonstrated currency of outdated work for an extension of time beyond the seven-year limit to complete a master’s degree program. Typically, helping the student demonstrate currency involves developing for each course some exam questions or activities that would allow the student to document current competence in the central content of that course, and then evaluating their responses. Another approach is to identify specific items in the culminating experience that demonstrate currency in a particular course content area.
