The California State University offers eligible employees the opportunity to enroll in the CSU Employee Fee Waiver and Reduction Program. This program provides for the waiver or reduction of certain fees for employees who enroll in work‐related courses offered by the CSU for the purpose of improving skills for existing jobs, or advancement in accordance with a career development plan.
The purpose of this form is to document that each new employee (both citizen and noncitizen) hired after November 6, 1986, is authorized to work in the United States.
This form is required from the State and is used prior to employment or to make changes during employment, for determining exemption status for taxable deductions, and any other deductions sought.
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides free and confidential counseling for employees and family members. The EAP can help address concerns with job stress, marital or family problems, substance abuse, emotional or other life crises (referral services also available). The CSU Family Medical Leave (FML) provides employees with unpaid leave time for up to twelve (12) weeks to care for self or eligible family members. The CSU FML incorporates both the Federal Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and California Family Rights Act (CFRA) leave entitlements and run concurrently.
