The following form is used to eastablish a new Center or Institute.

SPF's primary mission is to provide the Cal Poly Humboldt community with professional and accessible pre- and post-award grant and contract services. SPF administers virtually all externally-funded grants/contracts and submits proposals to external funding agencies on behalf of Cal Poly Humboldt.

Humboldt State University Sponsored Programs Foundation (HSU SPF) requires that all salaries and wages charged to sponsored projects are certified consistent with federal requirements. Effort reporting is required by all individuals who receive compensation from a federal grant or contract directly, or through cost sharing. As a condition to receiving federal funding, HSU SPF is required to maintain and certify the percentage of time that employees devote to federally-funded sponsored projects.

Cal Poly Humboldt established the Alistair and Judith McCrone Graduate Fellowship Fund in October 2001. The fund was created to honor Dr. and Mrs. McCrone, who together shepherded Cal Poly Humboldt and its students for over a quarter of a century.
